New York
I went to New York this weekend. Saw some Russian Art at the Guggenheim, hung out a bit with my cousin, and inadvertently drunk my friend who was hosting me under the table.
Got some knock-offs in the back rooms of Canal Street, and caught a Neo-Blue Grass show at the Bowery. AND I found parking in the East Village. That's right, I'm where it's at.
The drive was spectacular too. Heading back on Sunday night, the pinkened sky was shimmering around Manhattan as I exited, stage right, across the George Washington Bridge. Except for the speeding ticket, I would have made it home in 6 hours, which is just sick. I am never going to drive that fast again, mom.
So yeah, I had a wholly unexpected, comma, great time. Did I mention that the random sprinkling of cupcake bakeries in New York City is a very great thing?
